Join our interesting, talented group of volunteers
and know, every day, you make a difference
in helping someone in their job search.

Client Services/Reception: As the first contact for all visitors, you will interact with a diverse group of talented professionals, providing that "human touch" that earns us high marks from our clients. Your duties as a Client Services Rep will include greeting visitors and clients, answering the telephone, scheduling appointments and performing a few light office tasks. By offering a kind word or a smile, you can boost the morale of clients as they come through our door. In addition to helping others, you have the opportunity to form lasting friendships with other volunteers. Tues 3:30 – 6:30; Floater to fill in as needed.

Advisor: Recently retired executives or those working who have time and talent to offer on a Tuesday evening are ideal as job search advisors. Must have extensive experience in mentoring, training, and hiring individuals at all levels of an organization. Experience can be in any discipline. Familiarity with the hiring process and networking strategies are important but more importantly being a good listener and having a desire to help others is critical. One half-day per week or Tuesday evening 7-9 pm.

Network Facilitator: Enjoy conversing with individuals from a wide spectrum of disciplines? You can make a difference in a job seekers quest for new employment by facilitating a group of 15-25 job seekers. The ability to elicit an animated exchange of information between participants is key. Tuesday evening 7-9 pm, or various times during the week, 4-6 times a year.

Marketing Writer: If you have a passion and flair for writing, a strong marketing voice, and the ability to articulate nonprofit missions, here is an opportunity for you to assist in raising the visibility of CRC! Your talents can make a difference as you prepare human interest stories, newsletters, press releases, posters, and/or brochures. 3 hours per week (daytime or Tuesday evening) or project based.

Workshop/Program Presenters: Join other professionals who bring their expertise to our job seeking clients. CRC offers day or evening sessions on a variety of topics related to job search techniques as well as programs that deal with motivational, emotional, and financial issues. One to four programs per year.
