In 2002 when Gene was reading a Holy Spirit Church bulletin, he noticed that CRC was looking for help with their financial record keeping. He contacted the Center immediately and soon was busy maintaining CRC’s financial records. Volunteering seems a “natural thing to do” for this retired attorney.
Gene graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Electrical Engineering and went on to receive an LL.B. degree from Harvard Law School. Still not finished, he later earned his CPA credentials.
Gene’s impressive credits include partnership in the Wall Street firm of Cahill, Gordon, Reindel & Ohl and the posts of VP and General Counsel, in turn, at Reynolds Metals Company, Gould, Inc. and Bell & Howell Company, from which he retired.
