PRIVATE ADVISOR SESSIONS
By appointment. Private, confidential one-hour sessions on any phase of the job search. Topics include: resumes, networking, interviewing, plan of action, compensation, etc. Cancellation: 48 hours notice please.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
Professional experts in their fields present on a variety of topics related to job search, as well as programs that deal with motivational, emotional and financial issues.

INTERVIEW TRAINING
By appointment. Advisors help prepare clients for interviews via personalized discussion on techniques or mock interviews that may be videotaped and critiqued. Dress for an interview, arrive ten minutes early and bring a videotape.

NETWORKING SESSIONS

Outside professionals facilitate an animated exchange of information between participants. Expand your network, gather information on potential employers, and assist others with their job campaigns.

INTERNET JOB SEARCH TRAINING
By appointment. Specialist available on Tuesday evenings and Thursday afternoons to assist you with on-line job search sites, use of Reference USA (database of national employers), setting up remote e-mail, and converting resumes for electronic delivery.

JOB SEARCH ROUNDTABLES
Advisors facilitate these informal small group sessions where clients can bring their bring issues or questions and gain insight on effective tactics and strategies from our specialists and fellow job seekers.

ACCOUNTABILITY GROUPS
Groups of 6 to 8 clients meet weekly to review job search activity of the past week and set goals for the week ahead. Participation will help clients stay motivated and provide them feedback and ideas for effectively conducting their search.

SOFTWARE TRAINING
Small group classes are offered in various applications for a fee of $10.

REFERENCE MATERIALS
A wealth of employment directories, newspapers, literature, articles, how-to books, and guides are available. A database of national employers is accessible via an Internet subscription to Reference USA.

ON-LINE DATABASE OF EMPLOYERS
Reference USA™, a premier reference tool offering access to a proprietary database of 14 million U.S. businesses, can be helpful in researching potential employers and developing a list of target companies.

COMPUTER & OTHER EQUIPMENT USE

Clients have access to a computer lab with eight workstations, all with high speed Internet access and current versions of Microsoft Office. Workstations are also available for laptop hook up and free Internet access. Printers, fax, telephones and photocopier are also available.

EMPLOYMENT CLEARING HOUSE
Job openings, interim and temporary listings, contract options, and entrepreneurial opportunities received from employers and recruiters are posted.
